Valorant is CPU-bound, lightweight, and meant to run on potato PCs. So why does your $1000 setup get only 144 FPS? The answer is in 5 specific places.

In-Game Settings

  • Material Quality: Low
  • Texture Quality: Low (does NOT affect map readability)
  • Detail Quality: Low
  • UI Quality: Low
  • V-Sync: Off
  • Anti-Aliasing: MSAA 2x (best perf/quality)
  • Anisotropic Filtering: 2x
  • Limit FPS Always: Off
  • NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: On + Boost

NVIDIA Control Panel (Valorant-specific profile)

Add VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe to a custom NVIDIA profile and set:

  • Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
  • Low Latency Mode: Ultra
  • Texture filtering — LOD bias: -0.500
  • Texture filtering — Quality: High performance

Latency Killer auto-detects Valorant and applies these driver settings as a "game profile." No manual configuration needed.
